The invention relates to a method for preparing type I ritonavir polymouphous crystals.The method comprises the steps that: (1) ritonavir is dissolved in an organic solvent; (2) the obtained ritonavir solution is subjected to cooling crystallization; and (3) the solution is filtered, such that type I ritonavir polymouphous crystals are obtained.According to the invention, a direct cooling method is adopted for crystallization, no special equipment is needed, and the operation is simple and is easy to control.With the method, anti-solvent crystallization and seed-induced crystallization are avoided.The process is stable, a yield is high, and a cost is low.The method is suitable for industrialized large-scale productions.
